Trust, Security & Privacy
This page is maintained by Black Dollar Directory to answer common security and privacy questions about our service. It describes the controls currently enabled in our app and is not an independent certification or audit.
Shared responsibility
Black Dollar Directory is built on the Lovable Cloud platform. Lovable provides hosting, managed authentication, database, and edge function infrastructure. Black Dollar Directory is responsible for the application logic, data handling policies, and the content of this page. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
Authentication & access
Accounts are managed through Lovable Cloud's authentication service. Passwords are never stored by us in plain text. Access to business listing data is scoped per user through row-level security policies in the database.
Data we collect
We collect the information you provide when you submit a business listing (name, location, contact details) and basic account information when you sign in. Search queries you make against our directory are processed to return results and are not sold.
Subprocessors & integrations
We use Lovable Cloud for hosting, database, and authentication. Business search results are powered by the Google Maps Places API. We do not sell personal data to third parties.
Cookies & analytics
We use first-party cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
Data retention & deletion
You can request deletion of your account and associated business listings by contacting us. We will remove your data within a reasonable timeframe unless retention is required by law.
Reporting a security issue
If you believe you've found a security vulnerability, please email Team@Madamprezident.com. Please do not publicly disclose the issue until we've had a chance to address it.
